The lifecycle of enterprise systems. Taking a starting point in the contextualization from the lecture on day 1, the lecture will focus on the lifecycle of enterprise systems, from procurement to integration.

Attention will be directed towards the current developments in the enterprise software industry and the vast new opportunities and threats it brings to business. The lecture will end with a case on enterprise software selection and procurement, where the students will be asked to work hands on with the implementation of a SCM strategy through IT.

 

 

Johan Magnusson works as Director of the Centre for Business Solutions Centre at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. He received his PhD within accounting, and his basic training involves bachelor degree's in Psychology and Business Administration, as well as a masters and licentiate degree in Systems Engineering . He presents teaching experience from all levels (Doctoral, Executive, Advanced and Introductory), and has worked in varying roles such as project manager, researcher in national and international research projects, and as a consultant working within ERP, project management and IT Governance.
